by mickbobcat inso i was watching an evans video he just put out where he was interviewing a man about how the cult treated his daughter who was rapped as a criminal.
the man said his wife's first experience with an apostate site was here.
i could tell by the look on his face he did not like that site and then could not help himself and said that he could not recommend going to this site.

In 2013 after the release of the RNWT, Lloyd did a blog entitled "The Silver Sword", where posters tied to find the faults of the new translation. I posted about the revision of Lev.5:1 and the 1987 Sept 1 Wt. article "A Time to Speak When?" . It flew about three pay grades over his head. I called him on it and that snotty nosed kid had the audacity to say that I was flippant.
So I took it to Barbara Anderson where she was interested in looking into what I had. First she had to update web site, took about a year. When she finally got started on the project, it took me about 6 weeks of back and forth before it really dawned on her what deception the WTB&TS pulled off in the "A Time to Speak When?" article. She said in her entire career this project consumed more time than any other research project she ever did. The results was her article "Flawed Decrees Conceal Criminals". She made the article fit around her agenda on molestations.
She never credited me with the intellectual property of being the source of the comprehension of the relationship between the new revision of Lev.5:1 and the Wt. article "A Time to Speak When?". Nor was she interested in comprehending why the church has cloaked their RNWT revision of Lev. 5:1 in silence, as it would create major problems with the blood issue. Barbara listens to Barbara, to try to get her to think in a different way is a exercise in futility.
In February I was watching PBS documentary on the Black Church, Henry Louis Gates Jr. presentation entitled "This is Our Story, This is Our Song". So i says to myself, self that is the guy I need to send send "A Time to Speak When?" to; he is a real scholar, he is a minister, he is world rebounded scholar on Black history, he is a civil rights leader, he is a human rights leader. If there was only person in the world who had the power and comprehension of taking the WTB&TS "shunning policies" to task this would be the guy.
So I showed him the deception in the "A Time To Speak When?" article and I used some reasoning Barbara Anderson gleaned out of her attending a SNAP convention, as to being able to tell the difference between church teaching and church policy. To where when going against a church do not get involved in teachings as that is like trying to squeeze grease, but focus only on policy. So I showed him how by the date of the Sept. 1 1987 article "A Time to Speak When?" and how the article was written it was simply a hunting license to ferret out the new emerging church enemy "the apostate".
But more importantly I showed him how by taking the 'informant policy' of Lev. 5:1 and standing it along side the blood policy it can be proven that the death of Prince Rogers was murder!
When the Dereck Chavin guilty verdict was given a CNN entertainment reporter did a article as to how "Prince" would react to the "Black Lives Matter" killings in his beloved city. She cited his death attributed to pain killers. So I emailed her. Let her know about the hip problems and the blood policy. I told her about the material I sent to H.L. Gates Jr. and said if Gates can figure out the deception of the "A Time to Speak When?" article and the 2013 RNWT revision of Lev.5:1 then it could be proven that the death of Prince was criminal! So hopefully she sent the email up the CNN chain and they contacted H. L. Gates Jr. to see what he comes up with if he does the research.
It will be a hell of a story if CNN can show that the death of Prince was criminal.

Heavy duty truck mechanic, 51 years, self employed 41 years, 75 years old, a 50 year old would have a hard time keeping up. Ex wife who left because I was a threat to her spirituality gets $36,000 annual alimony, luckily now social security covers that tab now. She get it until she dies. So now I get to keep what I earn.
I told a son years ago if the WTB&TS was the NY Mob and they shook me down for a million dollars to leave me and my family along that would of been a hell of a good deal compared to what the church cost me.

I watched Henry Louis Gates show "Finding Your Roots" where they went into this aspect of her life. But there they put a positive spin on her being able to **** anything that would come along. And how loose charters in story lines appeal to her. That this was some how liberating.
A couple of years ago 2019 my son took me to met a woman [in her 30's] who leads a 'swinging life style' interested in information as to whether she could sue the Society for being molested by elder when in her early teens who liked to put his hand up her dress and feel her panties, even when she being on her period. This prior to change in Calif. State law on statute of limitations, so the only thing I could tell her was contact Zalkin. She hooks up with a attorney and travels to 'swinger parties'. She was so loose she even propositioned me. It is a terrible thing to see life's destroyed by emotional process where the escaping of repressive cult control results in unrestrained pursuit of excesses.
Several months later I outed the elder in one of my letters addressed to the homes of the church internal 'grape vine'. Have no idea as what effect it had as the shunning of this apostate is absolute.

In 1979 the Watchtower admitted to their 1975 failure. That admission was a total of two sentences long in the back of a Wt. study article. Either 1980 or 81 Franz was in Reno Nev., so I set about to listen very, very hard to every word he said, and at the end he said absolutely, nothing! Yes he had energy, he worked the crowd but there was never a point or a concept to get across. But he had a magic word which was "hence". So he would orate then throw in the word 'hence' and the crowd erupted in applause.
That talk, 1975, the 1984 Wt. comment as to we would be preaching to son's and daughters of those "sighing and groaning" of Ezk.ch.9 and the 1984 start of the "obedience to the Organization mantra", was my personal eye opening.
It was also in Reno in 1982 and 1983 where we were told that there was no "new light" to be had . It was even stated that if we wanted "new light" then do personal study and locate some yourself. So getting back to Jeff's original point there has not been anything new as he knew during the early 1970's is absolutely right on. So using Fred's own word "hence" we have seen a concerted effort on the part of the GB to shut down minds, demand blind obedience as the closest the GB has to "new light" is David Splane's newest version on Matt.24:34.

The difference was the "oracle", Fred Franz.
In 1973 was a period of greatest energy. The Viet Nam war the greatest pioneering motivator there ever was. In 1973 everyone was sitting on the edge of their seats awaiting the latest info as to 1975 through the official pipeline where Franz &Co. orally transmitted to D.O.'s and C.O.'s at NY and it was disseminated as inspired from God to the rank and file. Hence not much in writing about 1975.
Fred Franz was the man! There has not been anyone with a fertile mind to replace him.
It was 1984 when the Wt. made the statement that we would be preaching to the sons and daughters of those "sighing and groaning" of Ezk. ch9 when I knew Matt.24:34 was headed down the tube. That was also the beginning of the "obedience to the organization mantra". It wasn't until the church had to forgive the K.H. loans that I truly realized the organization came full circle and became what Rutherford said it was "a snare and a racket". The snare being the 'judicial system' having to be strengthened in order to met the emerging threat of the "apostate"! To where I need not comment where that has gone as to having complete control over life. The "racket" was the cash flow source being derived from construction loan interest, replacing income from literature sales.
So from 1984 on there was no "new light", the only thing new was "two day K.H.'s" and "obedience to the organization mantra".
Personally I think we will see great change when the court house doors are opened and "Anderson & Zalkin Co." rock the very foundations of mental bondage.
Change topic. Today I had something interesting happen as my truck mechanic service truck was parked at NAPA. A old man rolled down his window and asked about my name painted on the door. Said he knew a Tom Covert my dead brother, he gave me his name and I remembered him from circuit assembles in the early 1960's here in Northern Calif., he being from Eureka. The predictable small talk. I did give him my card with the Sept. 1 1987 Wt. article "A Time to Speak When?". He said he would read the article but was antsy about Googling my name that would of taken him to this web site. It would be interesting if his curiosity gets the best of him as it was a friend of his that moved to Redding who was the elder I gave a heart attack to over the article "A Time to Speak When?" that I wrote about in my introductory post.

Prince died from pain killers because he needed new hips but the blood transfusion policy prevented the surgery.
What was that old line we were taught "know the truth and the truth will set you free". What do you think Prince would of paid to be in your shoes.

Rotator Cuff Surgery: Anybody Have Experience?

he is right handed.. he's 51 and is great about exercising and staying in shape.
however, while doing push ups, his shoulder just snapped.

Yes . three surgery. The third day after surgery I had to use a pulley to raise arm all the way above my head all the way straight up. The issue is scar tissue. If he stays in a sling and does not move his arm the scar tissue will freeze the shoulder! You need to get a second opinion. You can probably go on line and research scar tissue, rotator cuff surgery and immediate mobility.
The scar tissue is as painful as what he is enduring now. Depending on body type, mine grows scar tissue like a farm. I actually had someone manually go into the joint and rip the scar tissue in order to eliminate the pain.
Find a shoulder doctor.

No the West Coast does not have the corner on the market on forest fire amid global warming as shown by what happened in Australia 6 months ago. California trees are some of the largest in the world in that it is coastal, moisture from ocean. Hence the state is able to grow large conifer trees closer to equator. So I think what we are experiencing is the gradual effects of global warming moving from equator toward the polar caps and California is just more ideal to track the movement.
On this issue fire is the forest friend, necessary for forest health. The Indians would set the forest on fire when moving to the valley's in the fall. The ranchers did the same thing as it produced new grass in the spring. The USFS policies during the 1920's mandated all fires be extinguished, they since learned that was a mistake we are still paying for..
It was this issue that made major headlines in Oregon a few years ago when a father son set Federal land on fire when they took cattle to winter pastures and got charged with arson. Which lead to "a peaceful protest" where the Bundy clan took over a Federal facility and a out of state rancher got shot by Oregon Highway Patrol. But Antifa wasn't formed to lead protest.
